About the “Krik“ project
The return of Mira Škorić to the small screen, but in a grand style. A duet of two major Balkan stars mixed into a dynamic love ballad. They reminisce about their past, suffering for one another. The video tells the story set in an abandoned house filled with historical masterpieces—their souls still live there. The video begins with their old duet, a song over twenty years old. We see them telling their story again, but this time, it's a "Cry from the Soul." The video was filmed in a luxurious villa.
Challenge:
This was the first collaboration with Mira. The video had to tell a truly romantic story, make it artistic, introduce new details, and use world-renowned masterpieces in the best possible way.
Outcome
Both artists were pleased. The set design was utilized to its full potential, featuring paintings by some of the world's most famous painters and sculptures that enhanced the song's emotion, longing, and mood. The lighting and other elements complemented each other, creating the perfect atmosphere, merging the past and present. Editing and color grading elevated the final product to an even higher level.
